Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent to play sports while studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the at the time. A mere 10 weeks after the initial trial she took, she was ranked 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school year in 2003 and was signed by Adidas an agreement as an athlete in professional competition. The following year she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic prize at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set a new junior world record. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to take home the 200 meters race. She defended this title and beat her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in her first Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her competitions.
