Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born July 7, 1968 was an American actress. She is best known for her performances in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was brought up in Glen Ellyn by Robert Eugene Carlson Her father was teacher. He was born in Elmhurst ([DuPage County Illinois]), close to Chicago). She is of Swedish descent and has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: The College years and the beginning of careers
She was first introduced to Hollywood when she worked as a background actress in the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim and Winona Ryder. She followed in the footsteps of her older sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
